Brief Biography

Shirley Kaiser photo At the early age of 2, Shirley E. Kaiser, M.A. was already playing songs at the piano and emerging as a musical prodigy. By age 12 she was teaching piano and had locally performed many Beethoven piano sonatas.

Ms. Kaiser earned a B.A. in Music from University of the Pacific and an M.A. in Piano Performance and Literature from California State University, Sacramento. She has studied with Eleanor Fenley, Wolfgang Fetsch, and Thomas Gentry and has performed in many master classes, including three in Vienna, Austria, with Alexander Jenner.

Ms. Kaiser has performed throughout northern California and the Midwest, most recently performing her compositions from her CD, Journey Within. In addition, Ms. Kaiser has taught and coached piano and musicians for over twenty-five years.

As a composer during the past ten years, Ms. Kaiser's soulful music is spiritually focused and meditative, creating an atmosphere of quiet relaxation.
