About Journey Within

Journey Within will take you on a transcendent musical journey. Shirley's soulful music has tremendous depth of feeling, creating an atmosphere of quiet relaxation. Its reflective peacefulness makes it suitable for use by massage therapists, for meditation, to unwind at the end of a long day, or to listen to at any time.
Shirley's captivating music has the capacity to touch the innermost places of your mind, body, and soul and bring profound release, healing and relaxation.
“Sunrise Reflections,” one of the tracks on Journey Within, was the featured music on a video being shown throughout the US at tradeshows and at conferences sponsored by MetaCreations (bought out and no longer online) and Apple during 1999. It was also part of MetaCreations' promotional CD and was included with new and upcoming software. Details at Steven Lareau's website, the video author.
You can also now see the video and listen to “Sunrise Reflections” in its entirety via Google Video: Discovery Video, by Steve Lareau, music by Shirley Kaiser or watch it below (3 minutes, 44 seconds):

Sound Clip Formatting
RealAudio streaming allows the user to quickly access and begin almost immediate listening of a sound file even while the file continues to download. Although one exchanges quick download time for better sound quality, the sound quality of RealAudio files are vastly improving.
NOTE: If you don't have the most recent RealPlayer, you may encounter an error message when trying to play the RealAudio clips. You can download the most recent version (FREE) at the RealAudio site.
If you want the best quality sound, listen to the .au format or the .wav MPEG Layer3 formats. Listening to the wav's will require the new Window's Media Player, which will play all sound formats, or any wav player that will play MPEG Layer3 files. The .wav MPEG Layer3 format is superior to the .au format and has smaller file sizes for quicker access. They are also smaller files than regular compressed wav files. You may need to need to allow a minute or so for downloading, but you'll have far superior sound quality with either of these two formats, particularly the .wav MPEG Layer3.
